Coolers
As a result, the engine oil cooler lowers the temperature of critical engine components, such as the bearings, by cooling them. As oil temperatures exceed normal operating temperatures, it loses viscosity and lubrication properties; this causes the oil to degrade and break down very quickly. Your engine’s oil life can be extended by an oil cooler. It is always recommended that oil coolers are replaced after an engine crash or after rebuilding.
